Joe Fletcher Presents is committed to making the world a better place. As such, we've supported numerous causes and non-profits over the last ten years that are near and dear to us. These include:
Joe has been promoting live music throughout New England for over a decade. Migrating from New York, London and Los Angeles to the sleepy rural state of New Hampshire in 1991, he quickly realized he'd have to create his own excitement in order to endure the New England lifestyle. As a musician himself, he noticed a glaring lack of live concert events that didn't require a 2+ hour road trip for New Hampshire residents.
With no other motivation than to keep himself busy and continue his chosen path in the music industry, Joe set out to promote small club shows on and around the University of New Hampshire campus in Durham. Starting with small bands like Dogzilla, Savoy Truffle and Thanks To Gravity , Joe discovered many hungry music fans willing to check out almost anything.
Eventually the industry began to take note of the emerging market in Southern New Hampshire, and Joe was offered the opportunity to promote bigger artist like John Hiatt, Shawn Colvin, Paula Cole, October Project, BB King, Eric Johnson, Soul Coughing, Morphine, the Subdudes, Alison Krauss, Joan Armatrading, Ani DiFranco Bela Fleck, Bruce Cockburn, David Wilcox, Emmylou Harris, Greg Brown, George Winston, James Brown, Ladysmith Black Mambazo, Laurie Anderson, Ray Davies, Warren Zevon, etc.
By 1996, he was averaging 50 live events per year in the New Hampshire, Maine and northern Massachusetts markets and had abandoned club shows for larger theaters, and even arenas. Shows followed with Bill Cosby, Bob Dylan, The Allman Brothers, 50 Cent, Eminem, Bonnie Raitt, Matchbox Twenty, the Moody Blues, Natalie Merchant, Melissa Etheridge, Pink, Kenny Rogers, Jackson Browne, Lou Reed, the Boston Pops, Vince Gill, Irish Tenors, Crosby, Stills & Nash, Brooks & Dunn, Meatloaf, etc.
Most recently JFP has produced several stand out shows including two sold out Rascal Flatts dates, sold out Maroon5, two sold out shows with Jimmy Cliff, sold out shows with Hilary Duff and Kelly Clarkson.
